A Message From The President

You may or may not be aware but this year I’m honoured to be President of the Tockwith Show and one of my responsibilities is to support the show charities, details of which follow.

Thanks to the generosity of Take That’s promotor I have 4 tickets to their very last concert of their Wonderland tour which will be held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Sunday 18th June from 17:00. The face value of these tickets is £190 each and as they are promotors tickets will be in a great area.

I propose to give these tickets to whoever makes me the highest offer received by Wednesday 14th June with all proceeds split between the two charities.

I’m happy for these bids to be personal or from a business and to be for a pair or all four but must ask for a commitment from whoever gets them not to offer them for resale.

If you’re interested in going and supporting the charities please drop me an email with an offer, I’ll keep all who do so updated with where the bids stand.

Thank you in anticipation.

St Michael’s Hospice and the Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group.

Saint Michael’s Hospice exists to help people with terminal illness to live and die well. We do this by offering specialist care, comfort and support, free of charge, to patients and their families. We are an independent charity working in the Harrogate District. Saint Michael’s is here for people who need extra support on top of the day-to-day care they receive from GPs, district nurses, hospital teams and nursing home staff.

Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group’s aim is to provide opportunities for people with a wide range of disabilities to enjoy the unique benefits of horse riding and carriage driving. Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group see disability as a starting point from which everyone can achieve something. The Group is entirely self-supporting and for us to continue providing riding and carriage driving, we always need more volunteers. We do not incur salary costs but we still need to raise about £3,000 a month to cover our riding and carriage driving costs
