Show Setup – Day 7

Things progressed nicely today with the marquee erection finishing with the last tent to go up being the church tent. Don\’t forget the church service on the show field at 10.30.

We now have all of our own tents put up so the president will have some where to entertain his guests. We might even give him some tables and chairs.

With the marquees all erected we have been able to layout the electric cables for all those requiring power. The Farmers Market is already to go, which by the way has new stewards (Malcolm & Jane Slinger) so be nice to them as it is their first show. The stage is now all set up for the cookery demonstrations by Robert Ramsden of Delifresh at 10.30, 12.15, 14.00 and 15.00.

Thanks today must go to our chairperson Lisa Chasney for the huge chocolate cake that she left for us first thing. It was her birthday today!

We have had to make a couple of alterations to the Main Ring time table as the Beagles (due to illness) are not now appearing. Details are on the web site at /visit/2013-main-ring-attractions-and-timetable-approximate/
