Show Setup – Day 6

After being away from the site yesterday afternoon it was a pleasant surprise to see most of the Marquees up. Only the Farriers and the Refreshment area left to put up so Fletchers should be finished tomorrow morning. The table and chairs from Fletchers also turned up early today and there was a bit of a mad dash to get them unloaded and under cover before the rain came.

One of the problems we have is supplying electrics to the Catering Area and not leaving cables above ground for people to trip over. Mike T came to the rescue with his old plough and several (nearly straight) channels were dug with ease.

One of the many perks of helping through out this week is the copious supply of free coffee, tea, biscuits (Jammy Dodgers) and at lunch time Bacon Butties from the nearby Glen\’s Café.
