Show Setup – Day 3

After complaining of how hard the ground was yesterday the overnight downpour has certainly softened the field up nicely making the driving in of the stakes for the Pig Pens a lot easier. The committee have now decided that working with galvanised hurdles is NOT one of their more favoured pastimes. Oh and someone passed me a sledge hammer! I\’ll fill in the accident book tomorrow Phil (honest).

David Hannington was doing his usual sterling job of racing around the field flat out at 16 mph cutting grass, flattening the lumps in the show rings with his rollers and then posing for photos.

So the Pig Pens are done, the Sheep Pens are in progress, the Farriers railing is up and the Bacon Sandwich shop will be open tomorrow.
