I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you for supporting me and making my day as President of Tockwith Show 2016 such a wonderful one and an experience that I will always treasure.
After having been so nervous all week I ended up with having an adsolutely marvellous day, with really lovely memories to take away with me.
The Tockwith Show Committee are such a great group of hard working volunteers and they have put on a superb show. I would also like to thank them for all of their help, support and laughter through the week and on the day itself.
We have just slept in to 6.30am (!), had a cup of tea and watched Breakfast News on the BBC for the first time in over a week – bliss! But are already missing the show field banter!
I\’ve forgotten to mention that I\’ve already received so many positive comments from numerous people (from Tockwith itself but also from further afield), telling me what a wonderful show it was and what a super time they had on Sunday. People who have never been to the show couldn\’t believe what a fantastic show it was and are wanting to become friends for next year. It\’s always nice to receive such lovely comments, but they are all so well deserved.
