Coast 2 Coast Day 13 – It seemed a good idea at the time!

Clay Bank Top to Glaisdale 19 miles. The day started bright and sunny although a bit cool. After an initial climb the walk levelled off and we thought that it would be a good day. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas. It clouded over, the wind got up and my Garmin was showing only 11 degrees centigrade! I actually resorted to wearing gloves. We arrived at the Lion Inn at Blakey at around 12.30 and had a very welcoming cup of tea. In the last few miles coming into Glaisdale the sun reappeared and the views were once again amazing.
Must mention Dave at the Dromonby b&b for his excellent hospitality and his donation to YAA. We also need to thank Sonya from the USA for her very kind donation to RABI.

Last day tomorrow. Mixed feelings about this great adventure finishing. Sam will need your texts for tomorrows 19 miles.
