Coast 2 Coast Day 12

Ingleby Cross to Clay Bank today. Only 12 miles but very hilly. The views over the North York moors were spectacular with the heather being in full bloom. We had our first distant views of the north sea today which was surprisingly exciting. Feet were in surprisingly good condition despite yesterdays long slog. 2 more days to go and reasonable weather forecasted. Nearly home.
