Bonfire Update

As a lot of you will know we unfortunately had to cancel the bonfire & firework display due to very wet ground conditions. This did leave us with one problem though, a rather large pile of wood on the show field! This couldn’t be left, and people were refusing to come and take their wood back, so on Wednesday morning we did light it. We didn’t think that the stack of hay bales to the side of the bonfire would burn as they were soaking wet but after a while they started to smoulder and eventually burst into flames. It wasn’t till I got home and downloaded the photos that I saw the image of the bales and what appears to be a dragon/devil trying to get out!
